Practice Plus Standards:-
- The PCT has demonstrated to staff the benefits of improving working lives and as a consequence staff
feel more committed to the organisation
- Effective partnership working which is building an involving and partnership culture for all Progress
in implementing Agenda for Change
- Local agreement to ensure inclusion of contractors, providing NHS services, including Primary Care
Services and their staff in decisions within the organisation
- Staff have the opportunity to give and receive information regarding the organisation
- Staff are confident that their opinions are listened to and acted upon at an
organisational, departmental, team and individual level
The Trust values the contribution of all its staff and wishes
to provide a range of different mechanisms which will facilitate
staff involvement in decision making, by obtaining a wider range
of views and opinions and by encouraging new ideas. To this end,
it is proposed to develop and extend existing communication
mechanisms and to adopt a more inclusive and participative
approach, which encourages a more active involvement of all staff
in the life of the Trust. Creating a culture of greater
co-operation and involvement will depend, to a great extent, on
our individual commitment to effective partnership working, to
good communication and, above all, to real teamwork.
If we all take part, listen to each other, feedback more often
as part of our working lives, then - we'll make a difference.
