Leadership and Management - Effective Team Building

The NHS is built on teamwork. One of the findings of a study in North Thames (West et al 2002) was that the higher the percentage of staff working in teams within a hospital, the lower the patient mortality. Good teamwork makes a real difference to patients!

Why would your team want a team building session?

  • To help make internal changes or to absorb & manage change imposed from outside?
  • To address communication issues, either internal or in bridging relationships?
  • To refocus or refresh your team goals?
  • Or to celebrate the team's existence in a meaningful way?
