Equality and Diversity Working Party

The PCT is striving to provide a working environment where it is the right of all staff to be treated equally, with dignity and with respect regardless of Age, Disability, Faith and Religion, Gender, Race and Ethnicity, or Sexuality.

To steer this area of work we have an Equality and Diversity (E&D) Workforce Group, which looks at issues such as HR policies, recruitment and staff training. Colleagues are wlecome to contribute to the Group.

  • Do you have an interest in Equality and Diversity issues?
  • Do you have skills and knowledge in any of the key Equality areas?
  • Would you like to make a difference to the support and information staff within the PCT receive?
  • Would you like to share your experiences of Equality and Diversity issues in a supportive and friendly and confidential environment?
  • Would you like to help us make changes which will improve the working lives of our diverse workforce?

If so please contact Janet Howarth, Senior HR Advisor, who can give you more information on when the group meets and the topics for consideration and discussion.
