Ron Fulton

Non-executive Director

Ron is a retired professional mechanical engineer, with extensive management experience in the UK and USA. He has a long association with fostering in Salford both as a foster parent and as an Independent Member of the Fostering Panel for five years.

He was a Non-Executive Director of the Greater Manchester Strategic Health Authority from 2002 –2006 with the particular responsibility to liase with all NHS boards in the Salford, Bolton, Wigan sector. For the period Dec 2004-Jun 2005 he was seconded to Salford PCT as a Non Executive Director and Chair of Audit. On his return to GMSHA he was appointed Chair of Audit Committee.

Ron is also Chair of the Wigan Strategic Partnering Board and a trustee of Crossroads (Bolton) a charity providing support for carers. He has lived in Bolton for seven years.
