Basic HealthSpace Account

Anyone who is aged 16 or over and living in England can register for a basic HealthSpace account.

The term ‘basic account’ doesn’t really do it justice though – there are a lot of features that, in our opinion, go over and above the term ‘basic’!

For example, you can use the site to record and track any health information that you’re trying to monitor at the moment. Patients have told us that they find it very useful for keeping tabs on their asthma peak-flow readings, diabetic blood sugar levels, and weight and blood pressure readings. It’s a handy place to store all this sort of info together so you know you’ll never be searching for that scrap of paper you scribbled on again! Well, not for health information anyway!

Another really useful feature is the appointments calendar. You can add in any medical appointments you may have – GP, hospital, clinic, phone consultations – and set a reminder on a date/time convenient to you that will generate an email alert to jog your memory about the appointment.

It’s really simple to register for a basic account – click here to go straight to the web site to get started.

In addition to the basic account, if your GP practice has created an NHS Summary Care Record for you then you can sign up for an Advanced Account. Click here to find out more.
