Partners in Learning - Universities
The HEI's linking into our placements are presently the
University of Salford, Manchester Metropolitan University and the
University of Manchester, although we are sometimes required to take
students from other areas too.
Curricula are planned and designed
with academic and practice staff and are subjected to a robust
system of approval adhering to the QAA Code of Practice.
It is
important that mentors understand the prescriptive boundaries and
guidelines of the HEI's, so in this section you will find guidance
and direction about all the pre-Registration nursing courses and
about their various assessment criteria.
Whilst all the HEIs are
endeavouring to bring their courses together to deliver very similar
education, there are still differences about the courses that you as
a mentor will need to understand before your student spends time
with you.
In time, this information will develop to encompass all
healthcare learners across the Greater Manchester area.
