Please use the guidance notes and pay scales provided below to do your calculations before returning your form to the HR Department.

How to check if pay is correct
GUIDANCE NOTES ON HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR BACK PAY

Any back pay due can be calculated by working out the amount you should have earned between October 2004 and the date on which you were assimilated and then subtracting the amount you were actually paid. Be aware that if you were still being paid on your old Whitley scale after April 2005, you will have had an annual pay rise of 3.25% from that date (The 2005 Whitley scales are also on the website.
