Children's Service - Epilepsy

The Bolton Epilepsy Support Service (BESS) aims to provide prompt, up to date and consistent care for children and young people with epilepsy in Bolton, and their families. We provide a rapid response diagnostic service; follow-up clinics in a variety of school and community locations; and advice, education and support at home and at school via our Epilepsy Specialist Nurse.

We also have strong links to child neurology, psychology and the education service.
