Podiatry - Wound CareIf foot ulceration occurs, a team of specialist Podiatrists in the Lever Chambers Centre for Health and in the community are available to arrange a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. This will involve the patient's GP, the District Nurse, the Tissue Viability Nurse and, when appropriate, the Diabetes and Vascular Consultants. Podiatry - AcupunctureSome patients with painful diabetic neuropathy (disease of the nervous system) do not respond to drug therapy and their doctor may recommend Acupuncture. Specially qualified Podiatrists provide this service at the Centre. Podiatry - Veruccae TreatmentTreatment of painful lesions is provided at many health centres and referral for cryotherapy (freezing) is through Lever Chambers. Podiatry - Foot Ulcers
