Wheelchair Services
Who is the service for?
We provide a service for residents of Bolton over the age of 3 years who, for medical reasons, are permanently restricted in mobility and would regularly use a wheelchair. Children who require special seating to maintain their posture may be referred at any age.
Aims of the service
- To provide wheelchairs, accessories and special seating - promoting independent mobility or access to the wider environment - for those with mobility problems
- To provide an excellent after-care service to ensure the wheelchair is maintained to an appropriate standard and continues to meet the individual's need.
