Tina Williams has worked enthusiastically in the tobacco control sector for many years fulfilling the roles of Smoking Cessation and Tobacco Control Co-ordinator for Wirral. She is co-author of the Reducing Children’s Exposure to Second hand Smoke Training Pack developed on behalf of the Smoke-Free Merseyside Alliance. In addition to this, she has developed a free lance consultancy business and was commissioned by the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation to undertake a feasibility study into the development of the first national smoke-free places award in 2003. She went on to design and continues to manage the National Clean Air Award in partnership with representatives from the business, local authority and health sectors. In April of this year, Tina took up the role of Workplace Health Lead for Wirral Primary Care Trust. |
